A car valet is the full clean, inside and out, and Thunder Brothers has been doing them by hand since the first branch opened. There are 47 branches across South Africa and every one of them offers a car valet.
That runs from a wash and vacuum through to a deep clean of the seats, carpets and roof lining. No booking is needed at any of them.

What a valet covers
Outside
The car is hand washed and dried, the arches get silicone, the mags are cleaned properly rather than rinsed, and the tyres are dressed. The engine bay can be cleaned as part of it.
Inside
Carpets and seats are cleaned, the plastics are wiped down and the glass is done last so it stays clear. That is the standard on every package.
A full valet goes further and takes the interior apart properly: seats and carpets shampooed, leather treated, roof lining done, and odour dealt with at the source rather than sprayed over.

Worth it, or not
A valet, or just a wash
Most cars need a wash most of the time. A car valet earns its money when the inside has been lived in: a family holiday, a house move, a dog in the back, or a car about to be sold or handed back on a lease.
Sellers get the most out of it, because a clean interior is the first thing a buyer reads the car by. A tidy engine bay and fresh carpets do more for an asking price than almost anything else you can spend the same money on.
If you are unsure, ask at the branch. The team would rather sell you the R 200 wash you need than the R 900 valet you do not.

Every Thunder Brothers site does a car valet, and there are 47 of them across the Western Cape, Gauteng, the Free State and Limpopo, including a dedicated valet centre in Hermanus. Our locations page lists all of them by province with addresses and opening hours. Drive in when it suits you, there is no appointment system and no waiting list, and the work is done while you are in the centre.
