Car wash in Greenstone
Thunder Brothers at Stoneridge in Greenstone washes every car by hand. There is no conveyor and no spinning brush anywhere on site, because brushes are what put fine scratches into a clear coat. It is one of our Gauteng branches.
There is no booking system. You arrive, you choose a wash, you go and do whatever you came to the centre for. That is the whole process, and it is why most of our customers are regulars rather than one-offs.
The Usual wash starts at R 140 and covers a hand wash and dry, an interior vacuum, tyre shine and a mag clean. Above that sit the wax and polish packages, and the Royal Treatment at R 700, which is a full interior deep clean of the roof, carpets and seats. Individual add-ons can go on any package.
Everything you need is on this page already, the hours, the address and the prices. That is the whole offer for a car wash in Greenstone: hand washed, no booking, no surprises at the till.
Common questions
Question: How much is a car wash in Greenstone?
Answer: The Usual wash is R 140 for a small car, R 160 for a medium one and R 180 for a large vehicle. That covers a hand wash and dry, an interior vacuum, tyre shine and a mag clean. Wax, polish and full interior packages cost more, and the full table of prices for this branch is on this page.
Question: Do I need to book a wash at Stoneridge?
Answer: No. This branch does not take bookings. Drive in during opening hours, choose a package at the desk and leave the car with the team. Most customers use the time to do their shopping and collect the car on the way out. There is no deposit and no waiting list.
Question: Is the car washed by hand?
Answer: Yes. Every car at this branch is washed by hand, with mitts and buckets. There is no tunnel and no spinning brush on site. Brushes are what put fine swirl marks into a clear coat, which is why we do not use them anywhere in the group.
Question: Can I get the inside of the car cleaned properly?
Answer: Yes. The Royal Treatment package is a full interior deep clean of the roof, carpets and seats, alongside an exterior wash, and it starts at R 700 here. Smaller interior jobs can be added to any wash instead, including seats only, carpets only and leather care.
